Legacy Farm started out with Lisa Beckman's grandparents, Roy & Cathy Marlow, and the farm was known as Fruit Crest Orchard back in the early 60's. Roy and Cathy, or Nanny and Papa Roy, as they were better known, grew many varieties of fruit.
When the fruit tree's were taken out in 1981, the land went to grass and later became the home for the Annual Cherry Pickers' Trot held on the third Thursday of July each year and hosted by the Green Bluff Direct Marketing Association. Upon her grandparents death, Mike & Lisa (3rd Generation) decided to continue the legacy of the Family Farm by growing Christmas Tree's for folks to enjoy while creating their own family traditions.
Legacy Farm will not be open for Christmas Tree's until 2012.
Visit us in 2012 for fresh garlands, swags, and pre-order wreaths.
Enjoy complimentary beverages, or purchase a slice of greenbluff pie or fresh baked cookies while you warm up in our Candy Cane Cafe with Mrs.Claus. We offer warming fires and hayrides out to our trees and will provide you with saws. No other cutting tools allowed.
Santa will be making appearances on special days for photos, so be sure and check with us for those dates. The children will be excited to visit our Toyland, where with the help from our elves they can select, make, wrap and purchase that special gift for Mom or Dad that is all under the $10-$5 range.
Be sure and visit us at Legacy Farm -
