A Sanctuary is a unique Bed and Breakfast situated in a lovely country setting just 15 minutes north of Spokane at the gateway to the Green Bluff Growers area. Situated on eleven private wooded acres this exceptional retreat offers relaxation, romance, and renewal. It is a quick escape to a little taste of paradise. Not only are the views beautiful from our home, but there are many things right here on the property to enjoy.  We have a basketball court, a huge fire pit, and a grassy area for playing croquet and Bocci ball. This one of-a-kind retreat is perfect for tourists exploring the Green Bluff area, working professionals, families visiting Whitworth or Gonzaga campuses, or a romantic getaway for locals.

A Sanctuary is open year-round Tuesday through Sunday.  We are knowledgeable hosts so we can act as your own concierge if you would like suggestions concerning: areas to explore, tours to take and places to eat and enjoy.  On-site massages by a licensed therapist may be arranged by an advanced appointment.  Upon request, a photo session to record your stay as well as wedding, anniversary, engagement, and senior portraits are also available.

Our living room is decorated in soothing hues of blue, lavender, and dark chocolate. There is noteworthy art, comfortable furniture, and the sound of music ushers you into the relaxed atmosphere. Also available to you is a media room on the second floor. It is reminisent of the orient in the artistic design. There is a 60" television and over 300 movies in myriad genres from which to choose. Access to TV, fax, and WIFI are available.

On the upper floor is where you will spend your restful and rejuvenating night in plush queen size beds. Your sleeping chambers are pleasing, comfortable, and well-appointed. The first bedroom is furnished in gold and amber in a European style and has its own large private bathroom. The second bedroom is tranquil and bejeweled in a modern fashion, dressed in light blue and chocolate brown, with a step through a stylish arch into the stunning bathroom. This eye-catching private suite also offers a built-in desk.

We serve breakfasts that are wholesome and delicious! These can be enjoyed by everyone, including vegetarians. The menu includes fresh seasonal fruit from our local Green Bluff orchards, Bob's Red Mill Organic Irish steel cut oats, Starbuck's Coffee, a wide variety of herbal and English Breakfast Teas, luscious muffins & bagels, yogurt, and much more all prepared by Chef Joey. We are operating in a GREEN manner, and do as much as possible to conserve, recycle, and use natural products.

Take in the panoramic views from the private deck that is located just outside the door from the media room. The sites are spectacular!
