WHY YOU LOVE IT HERE

“Even if I knew tomorrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant my apple tree.” Martin Luther.

Planting since 1986… we begin in July with cherries: Bing, Van, Rainier, Royal Ann, Lambert, Lapins, and Montmorency.

August is peach season… starting with Early Redhaven, often called the ‘bend over peach’. Later in the month, freestone canning peaches ripen.

We have over 50 varieties of apples picked from July to October. Our fresh-pressed cider is available from August through October.

A celebration of Johnny Appleseed’s birthday is held in late September. The weekend includes Johnny Appleseed cake, special drawings, and kids’ activities.

Flowers are available to cut and arrange from late summer to frost (we supply the vase). Grapes are picked early fall and make delicious juice or jelly.

We open for choose-and-cut Christmas trees and hand-crafted wreaths the day after Thanksgiving. Enjoy hot cocoa and s’mores around the bonfire.
