Pumpkins
  PUMPKINS

Pumpkins are typically harvested in the fall when they reach maturity, usually around September to November, depending on the variety and growing conditions.

After harvesting, pumpkins can be stored in a cool, dry place for several months, provided they are kept away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Alternatively, pumpkin puree can be made and frozen for longer-term storage, or pumpkin can be canned for convenience.   Whether you're picking a pumpkin to carve your favorite jack-o-lantern or to bake your favorite pie, pumpkins are a symbol that fall is just around the corner.

Remember that farming depends on the weather; not all pumpkins harvested on Green Bluff will be available according to the schedule below. This information is a general guide to when pumpkins are in season for each grower listed below. It is always best to click on the Grower Page and check with the individual farms before heading to Green Bluff!
